Veterans Celebration of Carroll County
This year’s event is on Sunday, May 3, 2026!
Free Admission and Free Parking:
The event has free admission and free parking for everyone. Reminder: Carroll County Farm Museum is a LARGE, OUTDOOR venue (mainly grass), please dress appropriately for the weather.
Who Should Come:
Everyone! This event celebrates Veterans, active military, and their families. Everyone is invited to join in the festivities, whether you served or not. Something for all as we come together to thank Veterans and the military!
For Veterans:
¨ There will be some special amenities specifically for Veterans:
¨ Event Clear Tote
¨ Event commemorative lapel pin*
¨ The first 250 Veterans receive a 5th Annual Veterans Celebration of Carroll County Commemorative T-shirt!
¨ $5 coupon for use at an identified food vendor(s)
¨ Complimentary water
¨ Resource Fair with many Veterans Service Organizations onsite
¨ Welcome Ceremony at 1:00 pm. Special Recognition Ceremony at 1:30 to recognize ALL Veterans with commemorative certificates and challenge coins!

¨ A variety of food and dessert vendors
¨ Live Music – Scheduled to perform: Westminster Municipal Band and Midnite Run
¨ Military Equipment Display (only pre-registered military equipment/vehicles are permitted for display on event day)
¨ Veterans Memorabilia Exhibit in the museum

¨ Farm Museum Artisan demonstrations
¨ Corn hole area
¨ Children’s activities, including:

Food:
Regional food trucks and concessions are on-site to provide food, beverages, and desserts. Please stop by the food vendors and browse their menus.
Beer Vendor:
There will be a beer vendor on site during the event. Visitors must have a valid state-issued ID to patronize the beer vendor. Patrons must have their ID checked and have a wristband to legally drink. Plan ahead for a designated driver.
What to Bring and What to Leave Home:
Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
We encourage you to patronize the on-site eateries.
No outside food allowed
Glass containers or outside alcohol are not permitted at the Carroll County Farm Museum.
Pets: Please leave pets at home. Pets are NOT allowed on the grounds, nor can they be left in vehicles during the event.
Where to park:
Parking is available on site.
Those who need handicapped parking and those who wish to enter through the museum’s main gate on Farm Museum Road, please park in the museum lots at 500 S. Center St., Westminster, MD 21157. A large, handicapped parking area is offered on the museum lot on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that if the museum parking lots reach capacity, they will be closed and all traffic diverted to the Carroll County Agriculture Center lot, adjacent to the back of the museum. We suggest coming early if you wish to park on the Museum grounds and enter through the main gate. The majority of parking is field/grass parking.
There will be golf carts available throughout the event to shuttle attendees from the parking lot to the main gate.

Rain or shine, the event will be held at the Farm Museum.
