Function – Advisory - To make proposals advancing CC agriculture, to provide broad representation in policy determinations regarding agricultural matters in CC and to advise the BCC and various county agencies on agricultural matters.

Qualifications – 6 Ex-Officio members from the Administrator of the CC Agricultural Land Preservation Program, the county Extension Director of the Cooperative Extension Service, and the District Conservationist of the USDA Soil Conservation Service.  The BCC appoints 14 remaining members from various farming industries (e.g. dairy, poultry, livestock, horticulture etc…), veterinary profession, CC Pomona Grange, CC Farm Bureau and the final 3 from agriculturally related businesses or services.
