The Collections Office is responsible for the collection of Real Property Taxes, Personal Property Taxes, and Water & Sewer Bills. In addition, they collect fees for Permits.

Carroll County will be conducting an online Tax Sale with RealAuction.com 

The County accepts credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) at our offices or online at Online Payments, or via telephone IVR system. For Water & Sewer bill payments over the phone call 1-833-632-0800. For Real Estate and Personal Property tax payments over the phone call 410-386-2971, Option 3. The vendor charges a fee for this service. Vendor fees are as follows: Water & Sewer payments, use of debit/credit card 2.5% convenience fee and ACH e-check is $1.50 convenience fee. Real Estate and Personal Property tax payments, use of debit/credit card 3.25% convenience fee for online and in person only; for telephone IVR system payments, use of debit/credit card is 3.25% plus $0.50 per transaction or ACH e-check is $2.00 convenience fee. Payment for Real Estate and Water & Sewer is also accepted at all branches of the Carroll County Public Library.
