The Round 10 forecasts reflect the most current socioeconomic development trends in the Baltimore region and are based off the latest census data (2020 Census). These forecasts provide the latest projections (2020 to 2050) for population, households, and employment for Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County, Howard County, Queen Anne’s County, the City of Annapolis, and the City of Baltimore. For Carroll County, the projected growth in population and employment reflect a more conservative growth trend compared to most of the jurisdictions in the Baltimore Metropolitan Region, with a projected population growth of about 8.9% and a projected employment growth of about 14.3% over years 2020 to 2050. Carroll County’s projected population growth is most comparable to Baltimore County (9.4%) while Howard County (24.8%) is projected to have the largest percentage of population growth in the Baltimore Region for years 2020 to 2050.
