The Double Pipe Creek watershed is located in the western portion of Carroll County. The watershed is within the Monocacy River Basin in the Piedmont physiographic province of Maryland and consists of twenty-one (21) major subwatersheds. The Double Pipe Creek watershed drains to the Potomac River basin, which is a tributary to the Chesapeake Bay.
