Community Emergency Information Line
1-888-5-GET-EOC

In June, 1995, the County added a community emergency information line. This 24-hour, seven days per week service gives emergency information in case of severe weather or other emergencies. Citizens can dial toll-free 1-888-5-GET-EOC. During non-emergency hours, educational information will be recorded to assist people in preparing for community emergencies. During emergencies, the phone will be "live", giving specific information that affects individual callers.

Emergency Telephone Notification System (ETNS)

Carroll County maintains a telephone based notification system that is used to distribute information to citizens residing in selected areas who may be affected by an emergency incident occurring in their area. Phone calls with a recorded message may be received at any time of the day or night; when a call is received stating "this is the...", please listen to the message and do not hang up.
