In order to provide a safe and efficient roadway network the Carroll County Department of Public Works adopted the 2004 version of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (A.A.S.H.T.O.) - A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets effective July 1, 2007.
