The Maryland Recycling Act (MRA) requires Carroll County to recycle at least 35% of the waste generated in the County. 

Businesses that recycle material generated in Carroll County provide valuable contributions to this rate. Businesses that self-report their recycling amounts assist in maintaining our recycling rate.

If your business recycles, please select one of the following options to report those materials.

• Fill out an editable PDF form and email it to atreece@carrollcountymd.gov
• Print a completed form and mail to:

  Department of Public Works
  Attn: Recycling Manager

  Westminster, MD 21157
• Visit the MDE website to complete their online form
