Westminster, MD, Monday, June 24, 2024 – The Carroll County Board of County Commissioners is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Christine Cambareri as the county’s new Communications Manager. Ms. Cambareri joined the organization on June 20, 2024.

Ms. Cambareri will work cooperatively with the board of county commissioners, department directors, media, and external partners to develop and coordinate the flow of information to the community. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Communications from Mount Saint Mary’s University and a Master of Science degree in Human Service Management from McDaniel College.

Ms. Cambareri returns to Carroll County Government after serving as director of the Department of Citizens Services from 2016 to 2020.  Since that time, she worked for Frederick County Government as the Division Director of Citizen Services and most recently as a special educator for Carroll County Public Schools.

Ms. Cambareri lives in Westminster with her two teenage sons and their rescue Cane Corso-Lab mix.  “I am thrilled to be back with the county, said Ms. Cambareri.  “I, once again, get the fortunate opportunity to work with a team of dedicated, hardworking colleagues to bring quality services to the residents of Carroll County.” I have called Carroll County home for the past 25 years and I am delighted to be serving my community in this new role.

Commissioner Kenny Kiler, President of the Board of Commissioners said, “Christine is a welcomed addition to the team.” Her knowledge of county operations and experience with cultivating and enhancing partnerships will prove to be an asset to the Communications office.”
