Westminster, MD, Monday, July 1, 2024 – Carroll County proudly announces the launch of a brand-new real estate and personal property tax billing /payment system. The strategic decision to invest in an updated system is reflective of Carroll County’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency to its constituents. One updated feature will allow citizens to make full and partial payments on real estate and personal property tax bills.  Comptroller, Jennifer Hobbs said, “This has been a long-term project and it is exciting to see it come to fruition. We are so excited for the launch, especially offering an online payment option for residents.”

Effective July 1, 2024, residents who choose to pay their real estate and/or personal property tax bills online can use the link: https://www.carrollcountymd.gov/billpay.

Pay by mail to: Collections Office
                          P.O. box 3237
                          Westminster, MD 21158-3237

Pay in person: Carroll County office building, 225 N. Center Street, room 103

 Monday-Thursday 8:00 am -5:00 pm, Fridays 8:00 am-3:00 pm (Until Aug 30, 2024)
After Aug 30, Monday-Friday 8-5.
