Westminster, MD, Monday, September 9, 2024 – Come one, come all! The 40th Anniversary of the Maryland Wine Festival® is this Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 11 am – 5 pm at the Carroll County Farm Museum.

The event features:

  • WINE! At least 27 local wineries are scheduled to attend between the Main Field and Explorer Village
  • FOOD! Wonderful food options from over 20 food and dessert trucks
  • SHOPPING! A vendor marketplace with over 45 booths
  • LIVE ENTERTAINMENT! Two live bands offering fantastic entertainment

NEW this year, the event will also offer:

  • Four beer vendors including a specialty brew named “Farmhouse Ruhls“ in honor of the 40th anniversary of the festival
  • A special limited edition 40th anniversary wine “40” from Linganore Winecellars is available for purchase (limited quantity), benefitting the Maryland Wineries Association
  • Two opportunities to attend a wine book talk and book signing by author, publisher, and winemaker Carlo DeVito
  • A free photo booth to capture the day’s memories

The Maryland Wine Festival was established in 1984 in Union Mills, Maryland, and has been held at the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster, Maryland since 1985. It is one of the oldest and largest wine festivals on the East Coast!
