Westminster, MD, Wednesday, October 23, 2024—Carroll County Bureau of Aging & Disabilities’ Family Caregiver Support Program will host the 2024 Caregiver Conference, “Caring for the Caregiver,” on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Westminster Senior and Community Center, located at 125 Stoner Avenue, Westminster.

The program is designed to assist caregivers who are caring for family members over the age of 60 and older relatives raising grandchildren under the age of 18. The topics to be covered are: “Maintaining Safety in the Home,” “Knowing the Best Care for Your Loved Ones,” “Difficult Decisions Caregivers Face,” and “Mental Health and Aging.”

The conference is open to caregivers, and anyone interested in the presentation topics. Registration is required and a light breakfast and lunch will be provided. There is no cost to attend.
