"Users around the world are applying GIS in countless fields to take a geographic approach toward solving complex problems and global issues," said Esri president Jack Dangermond.

Carroll County is working on expanding its technology throughout all its departments to meet the needs of our citizens. This includes leveraging GIS technology to support the county’s technological advancements in enhancing services for the public. "I’m proud of the efforts by staff throughout our organization who are leveraging GIS technology to help deliver services to our community,” said Tom Dowd, GIS Division Manager. “It’s rewarding to be recognized by Esri for the work that is being done within Carroll County Government.  We look forward to continuing our partnership with them to help drive innovation and community engagement.”
