Westminster, MD, Tuesday, January 28, 2025 – The Carroll County Bureau of Aging & Disabilities in partnership with Carroll Community College is offering a free seminar entitled “Hands on Skills for the Caregiver” on Saturday, February 1^st from 9:00-12:00 pm. The class will be held at Carroll Community College, room N209, 1601 Washington Rd. Westminster, Maryland.

The National Family Caregiver Support program is designed to assist caregivers who are caring for family members over the age of 60 and older relatives raising grandchildren under the age of 18.  Topics for this seminar will include personal care assistance, medication management, mobility aid, and recognizing emergencies.

The workshop is open to caregivers, and anyone interested in the presentation topics. Registration is required and a light breakfast will be provided.
