Westminster, MD, Friday, January 10, 2025 – The Hap Baker Firearms Facility, located at 1400 Baltimore Boulevard in Westminster, will be closed to the public from Monday, January 13, 2025, through Sunday, January 26, 2025.

This closure is necessary to replace one of the existing baffle walls. The baffle wall, part of a series designed to provide ballistic entrapment and prevent bullets from leaving the range, was recently identified by the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks staff as needing immediate replacement due to a significant lean in its structure.
