Aging Your Way Expo
The 2024 Aging Your Way: Health & Wellness Expo (formerly Seniors on the Go Expo) is taking place on Thursday, September 12th, 2024, from 9am to 2pm in the Shipley Arena of the Carroll County Ag Center.
This free event is a wonderful, fun way for older adults, people with disabilities, Veterans, and their caregivers to discover what is available in their communities. Everyone will find something interesting to do as activities include various screenings and assessments for healthy living, community programs and fitness demonstrations, three informational seminars, and an assortment of businesses and agencies.
There is something for everyone at the Aging your Way Expo! Free on-site health screenings & program information, featuring blood pressure screening, cancer screening information, cognitive assessments, medication management, nutrition for seniors, oral cancer, and more!
Make sure to check out the Free Therapies & Education, on-site reiki and massage sessions are available on a first come, first serve basis! Join the Carroll County Department of Fire and EMS in a hands only CPR and Stop the Bleed Training!
Be sure to bring your unused or expired medication to the Expo for safe disposal! The Carroll County Sheriff's Office will be collecting unused, unwanted and/or expired medication, both prescription and over the counter, in tablet, liquid, ointment, inhaler, powder or patch will be accepted! (Items that will not be accepted: syringes, needles, thermometers, bandages, gauze pads, sun block, lipstick, deodorant, non-prescription skin-cream or similar products)
Seminars include:
- Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office sharing awareness of scams & preventing becoming a victim
- Carroll Tech Council sharing the development and presence of AI technology
Attendees who stay for the length of the seminar are entered into a Walmart Gift Card raffle!

10:30am- Line Dance Seniors of Carroll County
11:00am- Seated Yoga
11:30am- Belly Dancing
12:00am- Seated Zumba Gold
On-site Pickleball demonstrations by the Carroll County Pickleball Association!
Enjoy Bingo from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm, where vendor donated prizes will be awarded to the winners!
Lunch at the Expo!
Boxed lunches are prepared by Hashawa! Served from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Meal tickets are available outside of the kitchen door and are on a first-come, first serve basis. Meals cost $9.00. Adults 60 and older, are able to make donations up to cost of meal.

All boxed lunches include Macaroni Salad, Bag of Chips, Fruit Cup, Cookies and Choice of drink Tea/Water/ Lemonade.
Do you need a ride to Expo?
CTS will be providing rides to seniors from Carroll County Senior Centers to Shipley Arena and back. Call CTS at 410-753-6300 to reserve a ride.
