The Bureau of Engineering performs a myriad of functions through its four divisions: Administration, Survey, Design, and Construction Inspection. Staff within these divisions consists of professional, technical, administrative and office support personnel. On a daily basis, this team addresses capital improvement planning and management, surveys and survey control, design, review, traffic engineering, and construction inspection services for the Department of Public Works, while also providing many of these services for other County agencies. Executing these functions provides a sound infrastructure that meets the public needs both today and for the future.
