Workforce Center Hosts In-Person Job Fair on October 17th
Westminster, MD, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 – Carroll County Department of Economic Development workforce development office is pleased to announce an in-person job fair on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Carroll County Workforce Development (CCWD) is partnering with the Maryland Department of Labor and several local businesses to host a job fair at its facility at 224 N. Center Street, Westminster, Maryland.

Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)

Interested applicants should bring a resume or a business card and be prepared to talk about opportunities and possibly interview on the spot with hiring businesses.

In preparation for the job fairs, interested candidates are encouraged to visit the CCWD center the week of October 9th to receive assistance in creating or customizing their resume for the event. A specific Walk-in Resume Review session will be held on October 11, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. No appointment or registration is necessary, and customers can visit any time between 1:00 and 2:45 to have their existing resume reviewed, with suggestions of formatting and content, given on the spot at the time of the visit, free of charge.
CCWD will also host an online Job Fair on Tuesday, October 24th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Participants must register for this virtual Job Fair at https://pvapi.premiervirtual.com/s/xaG1O8.
